Shapewear Size Guide

Shapewear is sized by your measurements, not your usual dress size. Find your bust, waist and hip on the chart below — Bloom runs XS to XXL — and when you fall between two sizes, size up.

How to measure

  1. Bust: measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape level all the way around and not pulling it tight.
  2. Waist: measure around your natural waist — the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the belly button.
  3. Hip: measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat, standing with your feet together.

Measure over bare skin or thin clothing, keep the tape snug but not tight, and if you fall between two numbers, use the larger one.

Choosing between sizes

Between two sizes? Size up. Shapewear that's too small rolls and displaces rather than smooths — the larger size gives a cleaner line and stays put.

Waist and hips in different size bands? Order to your hips. Shapewear stretches up through the waist far more comfortably than it stretches out across the hips.

New shapewear settles. A piece that feels marginally firm on day one relaxes into its working compression within about a week — so don't size up for that alone.

Our fit model is 168 cm (5'6") and wears a size XL — bust 110 cm, waist 82 cm, hip 107 cm.
